The silver Abyssinian sits in the corner, not to mope, and not as an outkast. Simply reading a very entertaining back issue of Rolling Stone, a tall, cold glass of root beer in one paw. It finds its way to his pursed lips, where he allows the passage of a tenth of the contents before setting the glass down, smacking his lips.

Twenty years of youthful exuberance, and bright eyed curiousity, the still relatively young feline watches you and the rest of the room shyly from over the pages, his warm green eyes seeming to look everywhere at once and nowhere in particular. A set of high quality headphones around his neck, trailing off to the chasm of his front pocket, the faint sound of some electronica coming from his general direction. He was clothed in pretty regular attire. Black jeans, a long sleeved, green suede shirt, and some light tan Chuka boots.

After you stare long enough, he blushes for only a second, before the magazine flies into the trash bin, as in a cloud of frosty puffs the six foot kitty pounces, and misses. At least, he doesn't hit you like you expected. As your eyes peel back open, hastened by a frantic squeaking, you see him twirling a few revolutions on the bar stool beside you before coming to a stop.

"Hehe, hiya!! My name is Kalix. Or Kal for short."

His bright smile and cheerful disposition are reassuring, whether your day was better or worse than most. The foot or so of tail behind him, as silver as the rest of his fur, always seemed to be moving somewhat, even if it was completely still. Possibly from the way light shines across it.

To get him into any conversation, feel free to whisper, as he's very friendly to that, pounces, licks, hugs, or more. Also, he's relatively intelligent and can offer a tidbit on most any topic you could think of.
